The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), FFCCCII Foundation, Inc. and several Filipino-Chinese associations recently conducted relief operations for the victims of the fire incident that hit Parola Compound in Tondo, Manila on February 7, 2017 which left at least 3,000 families homeless. The group worked with the City Government of Manila led by former President Mayor Joseph Estrada to deliver 2,500 packs of relief goods to the affected families at Del Pan Sports Complex in Tondo, Manila. The relief team was headed by Mayor Estrada, FFCCCII Vice President George Chiu Hock Huy, FFCCCII Welfare Committee Co-Chairman Bonifacio Lui, Committee Vice Chairman Robert Kho Tian Ang, Committee Director Pedro Tan, FFCCCII Regional Executive Director and Manila Councilor Moises ‘Bobby” Lim, representatives from Federation of Filipino-Chinese Associations of the Philippines, World News Daily, Filipino-Chinese Amity Club, Overseas Chinese Alumni Association of the Philippines, Filipino-Chinese Shin Lian Association, Inc. and Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Manila Councilors Casimiro Sison, Dionix Dionisio and Peter Ong; Manila Social Welfare Department chief Nanette Tanyag; and Barangay Chairman Arnel Parce.
