Opening Ceremony of the 32nd Biennial Convention of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII)

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte lauded the Filipino-Chinese community for their contribution towards nation building during the Opening Ceremony of the 32nd Biennial Convention of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

In his message, President Duterte recognized the FFCCCII as an important partner in nation building, recognizing its immense contribution to various initiatives such as disaster relief efforts, medical missions and other interventions during calamities, construction of school buildings, and rehabilitation facilities.

“The federation has consistently played a vital role in ushering a period of greater cooperation and understanding, not only in the promotion of business and trade, but also in facing the various challenges that we face as a nation,” the President said.

He also thanked the FFCCCII for its support of the administration’s fight against the scourge of corruption, criminality, and illegal drugs.

Carrying this year’s theme of ‘Building Synergies for Greater Progress’, the three-day event gathers FFCCCII delegates representing the Federation’s member chambers and trade and business associations across the country.

The convention’s agenda includes the election of the Federation’s Council of Representatives, members of the Board of Directors, and Corporate Officers.

The FFCCCII is considered as the largest organization of Filipino-Chinese businessmen with membership of 170 various chambers in trade and business nationwide.
